A Decoction in a Diarrhea.

Take powder'd Bole Armoniac 1 ounce; soft white Chalk 3 ounce; boil in Water 3 pints to 26 ounces; strain and set it by to subside; then having poured off the clear, add Diascordium half an ounce; Cinnamon Water, Syrup of Quinces and of dried Roses, each 2 ounces; Oil of Nutmeg 2 drops; mix.

To repress a Diarrhea give a quarter of a pint, as often as the present Exigence indicates.
