Dissolve an ounce of isinglass, beat up three quarters o fa pound of loaf sugar, in a pint of rich (or as it is sometimes called in London “Double ") cream, mix all together, throw in a glass of noyeau, and the juice of a lemon and a half; beat it up with a whisk, and put it into a mould.
