An Epileptic Glyster.

Take Camomile flowers 1 handful; boil in Water to 3 ounces; strain and add Spirit of Hartshorn 8 drops; Oil of Aniseed 5 drops; Honey of Roses 3 drams; the Author saith, there's no need of Yolk of Egg to mix it.

The use of Volatile Salts in Glyster, I take to be a new Practice, not thought of by our Fore-fathers in Physic. Yet Ettmuller (whose Prescript this is) writes that a certain eminent Physician commends them (not without Success) in an Epileptic Paroxysm, and gives them well to Children, as to grown Persons, and this he order'd for an Infant of a Year old.
