Polychrest Pills.
Take lucid Aloes, Scammony prepared, each 3 drams; Troches of Alhandal 2 drams; Mastick, Saffron, each 45 grains.
Let the Aloes, Mastic and Scammony be powdered feverally, and brought into a Mass with Spirit of Wine, and then mix the other Powders with it.
It's borrowed from the Leuwaerden Pharmacopoeia, purges strongly, and is to be given in the Morning, form 15 to 25 grains, or half a dram.
